在回家的路上，重聽Les Miserables (孤星淚)的歌。期間，Javert的《Star》在我耳中迴響，萬般感觸。
Javert 是警察官，代表著所謂的正義、司法，絕對忠於自己的角色，但基於現實的衝擊，這為他走上自殺之路埋下重要的伏線。他一次又一次想把逃脫了的Jean Valjean捉拿歸案，但卻多次失敗；最終更面對的是：情與理的衝擊 -- 即Jean 在一個有利的環境下(可把他殺死)把他放走，具備「情」(因Jean的心腸)；最後，他也在無奈的情況下，看著Jean 帶著Marius離開。他的內心受盡各種的掙扎，並想到：自己一直以來所堅持的理念實非絕對的硬道理，並體現到司法制度上的不完備，以及人情的存在。故 此，他難以接受情感與現實的衝擊，遂掉了自己的紀錄本，再跳水壩而亡。
看完之後，可能你會想：人不能永遠持守著一個觀點，即執著；而且，凡事也得要變通，沒有「絕對的硬道理」或模式，正所謂人們講的因時而變。又或者，我們會明白到理想與現實是兩個截然不同的世界，你可能會想：做人別這麼天真與執著。
但說句老實話，倒也欣賞他的個性，雖然他可算是執著得自尋死路，但正正因著這種執著與熱血，才能體現到他強烈的個性。有時，人不正是需要執著才能成事？成為 一種推動的路向，尤其是一個忠於自己角色的人，真是非常可貴。有時，我也認為自是需要更多的執著，堅信著自己要做的事。如果，這個世界的人，全都是那些瞻 前顧後，人人也是擇善固執，更懂得趨利避害；那麼，整個世界不就是很死板？
